The boat was purchased from the USA by the current Owner. All her AC
appliances are therefore 110volt 60 Hz, however, the boat has had a converter installed so that she can be plugged in
directly to Australian 240volt 50Hz shore power.
The Fleming 55 is a pilothouse motor yacht with elegant classic lines
with a low profile and centre of gravity. She has a semi displacement,
easily driven hull with full length deep keel which protects her running
gear. With her high flared bow she has proved to be an excellent sea
boat.
Powered by twin Cummins 500 hp engines, this Fleming 55 cruises at 17
knots with a top speed of 19 knots. The vessel also has Sidepower bow
and stern thrusters, Naiad stabilizers, Glendenning controls, and an
Onan genset.
Through sliding doors from the cockpit you will find the saloon, with a
large L-shaped sofa to port. The vessel is fitted throughout with teak.
Forward of the saloon is the galley, featuring granite counters, a gas
stove, Miele oven, dishwasher, double sink with waste disposal, and a
trash compactor. A full size double door fridge-freezer is opposite to
starboard.
The pilothouse has corner seating and a table, and features a custom
black Stidd helm chair. There are steps up to the flybridge which has
plenty of seating, a teak table, storage lockers, a tender cradle and
davit. The vessel features the three cabin accommodation layout. The master cabin is forward, with its own head and plenty of storage. To port there is a twin cabin with three bunks and its own TV. The third cabin has the custom office layout, with desk and drawers/cupboards, plus a raised bunk. The guest head is starboard side and features granite counters. The vessel also has a washer and dryer, perfect for those longer trips. |
